Guide to Jailbreaking IOS 4.1 and above.. 2. Unzip Greenp0ison, run it, and follow the instructions provided. 3. If your jailbreak is successful, you will have a ‘Loader’ icon in your iphone when you reboot. 4. Click on the ‘Loader’ icon and it will prompt you to install Cydia. 5. Cydia is something like an alternative App Store haha =P 6. Explore Cydia and have fun ~
Additonal notes: 1. To Theme your iphone, download Winterboard from Cydia first. Next, search for Winterboard themes and download them =D. 2. For cracked apps, download Installous. You must first add cydia.hackulo.us repo.
( From Cydia Homepage>Manage>Sources>edit>add>Type ‘cydia.hackulo.us’ .) 3. To enable cracked apps to sync with itunes properly, make sure you enable itunes sync in Installous. Also, download MetadataRemovr (from hackulo repo as well) and clear all cracked apps metadata to enable Official App Store from detecting updates for your cracked apps. (It is pointless as: You cannot download updates for cracked apps through App store, the only to update cracked apps is to redownload the app either through installous or searching the internet for the ipa files.) 4. Installing of ipa files downloaded from elsewhere other than installous is very simple. Just download ifunbox ( Google it ) . Run the app and you will see one tab labeled ‘ installous ‘ . Drag your ipa files to this folder and voila - it will be installed automatically. 5. Appbackup is recommended to download from Cydia as it saves your app data. IT DOESN’T SAVE THE APP ITSELF. ONLY GAME DATA. For instance, you have a game which you played a character till lv68. When you encounter some issues with your iphone and want to restore, all your newly synced apps will obviously be ‘clean’. Appbackup will allow you to continue from lv68 rather than starting from lv1 once again. That’s all folks. Happy jailbreaking and have a nice day *bows* .
